Capitol Elevator is proud to be recognized by the state of California as a provider of continuing education for Certified Competent Conveyance Mechanics. Our convenient one-day course is offered 4-5 times during the year and draws participants from all over the state.

The state of California requires certification for elevator companies and mechanics. Elevator technicians must have 8 hours of continuing education every 2 years to maintain certification.

As part of the renewal process for your State certification, you are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education within the last year of your certification’s expiration. Approved instructors will take you through the California elevator code in a one day, 8-hour course.
